The
Oakfield Farm Expo has always been special. Apart from the
idyllic country setting, the expo has set itself apart as a warm
and friendly event not common at expos. This was an expo where
prospective bridal couples had time to meet and discuss special
requirements. This
does not mean the event was quiet, more than 3000 visitors
passed thought the gates despite inclement weather and rain. As
the show is spread out over the extensive gardens there is a
feeling of space which hides the fact that there were more than
10 stands to explore. Excellent food at reasonable prices was on
sale.
What
made the expo so successful is the outstanding coordination by
Oakfield, reasonable entrance costs which included the
stunning 2008 Bridal Library Guide and a free DVD with highly
informative interviews.
Beautiful
lines, wonderful colours and fabrics made the dresses at this
year’s fashion show too beautiful for words. As a
finale, more than R120 000.00 in prizes were won.
The
2009 expo will be held on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 February. Nobody can wait that long so if you still need
