When we created the Spa in the Country, we chose as our setting the tranquil foothills of the beautiful Kromdraai Valley, where scientists are investigate the origins of mankind - a place graced by the rejuvenating power of the African sun.
Our Spa was conceived and is designed as a sanctuary where you can discover yourself in a serene environment that encourages relaxation and personal rejuvenation - the key to vibrant health!

Our philosophy follows a natural approach to body and skin care, which infuses ancient beauty and health therapies from across the world with African herbs, flowers and spices.
The Spa in the Country cultivates these timeless treatments and remedies and does not follow the
clinical and medicinal approach of other countries and spas - a unique tribute to Africa's indigenous herbs and oils.

This unique Spa experience is made even more memorable by the choice of private indoor facilities which open out onto enclosed garden courtyards with the entire complex encompassed in a lush indigenous setting, with cascading water features to soothe the senses.

Spa Conferencing: New Spa Innovation
Welcome to a new Spa innovation.  In our fast moving corporate world it has become essential to take care of your employee’s emotional well being.  The latest trend in conferencing is to address and deal with stress management in the workplace.

The Conference Retreat Experience will endeavour to assist delegates in stress management and promote staff wellness in the workplace by providing a therapeutic environment.

As relaxation is an integral part of the conference retreat experience all treatments are carried out in a private therapy room - each delegate is treated individually to ensure a memorable experience.  While fellow delegates receive their spa treatments others will have time to unwind in our tranquil gardens or make use of the spa facilities which include a solar heated pool, sauna and steam room.

The Conference Retreat Experience will prove to be the best motivation for any team, as each delegate will walk away feeling well rested and motivated with a renewed mind and body.
