Ambassador Oscar J Webb (Chairman)
Oscar J. Webb was recently named Ambassador of Goodwill for Israel by Gideon Ezra, Minister of Tourism. The appointment was made during one of Webb’s many visits to the region.  “I am honoured to serve as Goodwill Ambassador to the State of Israel and work with my brothers and sisters of the African Hebrew Israelites of Jerusalem – “The Miracle of the Desert” – in the City of Dimona. As Goodwill Ambassador, my task is to bring Christians, Jews and Muslims to the Holy Land and connect with God and Africa, our Motherland.

To help jumpstart tourism to the Holy Land, Webb formed Holyland Tourism (Heaven of Earth).  Webb was also recently asked by Anwarul Chowdhurry, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, to help promote the “United Nations Culture of Peace and Community Empowerment” by bridging the digital divide in all 52 African countries. Ambassador Webb, along with his United Nations associates, Yehoram Ben-Shalom and Ramni Klienmann, are developing the first computer Training Centre in Dimona, Israel.

Prior to his appointment, Webb’s impressive career is multi-faceted.  He currently serves as the executive director of the National Gaming Organization, located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He also founded Blacks in Gaming (B.I.G.), and is recognized by many around the nation as the ‘Architect for Diversity’ within the gaming/tourism industry.  A native of Chicago, Webb is a former business consultant and liaison to federal state and municipal agencies.

As a retired executive of Brinks Security, his career in corporate management, entrepreneurship and political empowerment spans over 35 years.  During his 20 plus years in the banking industry, he enjoyed the opportunity of working with many importance agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Customs, Department of the Treasury and the Federal Reserve.

An entrepreneur at heart, Webb founded the American Water Company, co-owner of Osiris Energy and Environmental Company as well Global Team American.

The latter established to bring jobs to America’s inner cities.  In 1995 he formed the First African-American / Native-American business alliance.

Webb also served as advisor to the World Conference of Mayors, the National Conference of Black Mayors and the National Indian Gaming Organisation. Sits on 10 boards of directors, and acts as a special consultant to Black meetings and Tourism Magazine as well as being key spokes person to the United Nations.

He has been listed in The Black Book of Who’s Who in America, and will soon release his own financial tome, Black Ghetto, Black Gold.

Carl Nell (Director)
Carl’s strong ability to network and to create relationships in the tourism and hospitality industry has given Internet Hello South Africa (www.hellosa.co.za) the leading edge measured by the serves that it provides and the quality of services offered.

Carl has vast experience in promoting and marketing the tourism sector as well as selling and organising multi page website developments and having previously been awarded A Pan African exclusivity by City2000 UK ~ Business Directory Search Engine.

Carl founded Internet Hello South Africa cc in 1997.  The idea was to create the largest Independent comprehensive tourism, entertainment and hospitality website based on South Africa.  He is the firms Project Director and Carl is responsible for the day to day management of both the site and staff.  He is also responsible for new project implementation and the running thereof.

Carl is responsible for building and maintaining all of the relationships that he has with the various service and product providers in the hospitality industry that is presently associated with Internet Hello South Africa, such as South Africa Airways, Vodacom, Call Mobility, Cointel, MTN, Venue Finders of which he has worked with for 13 years and was the GM before its take over by a BEE Consortium, Bayede (King Goodwill Zwelithini), and developing relationships with venues, (exclusive Conference, Hotel, Game Lodges and Spa’s) tourism companies, restaurants, team building companies and other related tourism, business and hospitality products/services offered in South Africa for both the local an the international market.

By building these relationships with these companies, Internet Hello South Africa has eliminated all competitors, as there are no other hospitality and tourism website that can compete against the services that Internet Hello South Africa offers.

Carl has a Diploma in Business Management and has worked in the past with a large security company as personnel manager.  He was responsible for 700 workers and their salary queries and the handling of Unions, Manpower’s and Labour Laws.

The country is highly diverse in terms of its climate, culture, tourist activities and infrastructure, catering for every tourism niche from business, eco- and cultural tourism through to adventure, sport and paleo-tourism.

Tourism is also one of the fastest growing sectors of South Africa's economy, its contribution to the country's gross domestic product (GDP) increasing from 4.6% back in 1993 to 8.3% in 2006. Cape Town topped the list of favorite long-haul destination cities, while South Africa was voted the second favorite long-haul destination country.

A total of 9.07-million foreigners visited South Africa in 2007 - representing an 8.3% increase over 2006 - as the country broke its annual tourist arrivals record for the third year running.

Africa remains the country's biggest source market, with strong growth from the United States pushing it up into second place. Now the country is gearing up for the biggest sporting event - 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP.

Numerous exciting preparations are underway for the FIFA World Cup 2010. Five of South Africa's football stadiums are undergoing major upgrades.

They are the two stadiums Soccer City and Ellis Park in Johannesburg, Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria, the Royal Bafokeng stadium in Mafikeng (North West Province), and Vodacom Park in Bloemfontein (Free State).

Brand new stadiums are being built at Mbombela in Mpumalanga and at the Nelson Mandela Metro (Port Elizabeth surrounds) in the Eastern Cape. Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane (Limpopo), King Senzangakhona Stadium in Durban and Cape Town's Green Point stadium will all be entirely rebuilt.

Kings Park (King Senzangakhona Stadium) and Green Point stadium will develop into totally new multi-sport amenities. Green Point stadium will be constructed with a retractable dome to shelter spectators and players should Cape Town's changeable winter weather become unfavourable.
